Individual Coaching for Student/Trainee Counsellors and Psychotherapists

 

Catherine is an integrative psychotherapist, researcher and author.  In addition to her psychotherapy and counselling training, Catherine has previously engaged in teaching and research in higher education institutions across the north-east of England over the past 20 years, and she understands the many challenges facing students throughout their training programs. As a coach, Catherine is dedicated to nurturing students' growth every step of the way, whatever their stage of training. 

 

In addition to her UKCP-Accredited Psychotherapy and Counselling Diplomas from the Northern Guild, Newcastle (UK), Catherine has a PhD in Education, a Masters in Research Methods and a BSc in Psychology & Counselling.

Catherine focuses on helping students move forward when they are feeling stuck regarding aspects of training and assessment. For some students, one or two sessions are enough to help them move forward, for others a more open-ended approach is preferred.  Catherine supports psychotherapy and counselling students with compassion and a blended coaching/mentoring approach tailored to their specific needs.  Below are examples of the issues/areas that Catherine can help with.

If you decide to go ahead with coaching, the initial Coaching Consultation is a 60 minute session, at a cost of £60.  Following the Consultation, ongoing coaching sessions (duration depending on your requirements) are charged as follows:

50 minutes at £50

30 minutes at £30
